Step-by-step guide on the official method to download Aadhaar card online from the Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) website (Aadhaar number, Virtual ID, Enrolment Number) and using DigiLocker or mAadhaar app.
Method 1: Aadhar Card Download by Enrollment Number and Aadhaar Number Via UIDAI Website
- Steps 1: Visit the official website myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
- Steps 2: Click on ‘Download Aadhaar’.
- Steps 3: Select 12 digit Aadhaar number / 16 digit Virtual ID (VID) number / 28 digit Enrolment ID (EID) number / 28 digit Service ID (SID) number and enter the number.
💡 EID (Enrolment ID) is a 28-digit number given during the application process to track its status, while UID (Unique Identification Number), or Aadhaar number is a 12-digit number issued after approval, which serves as a proof of identity and address.
