NTET Notification 2026 : Eligibility Criteria

Only Those Candidates Who Hold a Recognized Postgraduate Degree in the Relevant AYUSH Discipline Are Eligible to Apply for the NTET 2026 Examination.

Appearing CandidatesPG Students of Ayurveda/Siddha/Unani Who Have Completed 30 Months of Their PG Programme Are Eligible. Homoeopathy Candidates Must Have Completed Their PG Degree.
Qualifying PercentageMinimum 50% Marks Required to Qualify the NTET Examination.

Candidates Can Fill the NTET 2026 Online Application Form at exams.nta.nic.in/ntet/. Follow These Steps Carefully.

  • Step 1: Visit the Official Website at https://exams.nta.nic.in/ntet/ and Click on “New Registration”. Enter Your Personal Details, Contact Details, and Address. Note Down the System-Generated Application Number and Create a Strong Password.
  • Step 2: Login With Your Application Number and Password. Fill In All Details — Personal Information, Educational Qualification, University/Programme Selection, Choice of Exam Cities (Select Any 3). Upload Scanned Photograph (JPG/JPEG, 10–200 kb), Signature (JPG/JPEG, 10–50 kb), and Other Required Documents as Applicable.
  • Step 3: Proceed to Fee Payment. Pay the Applicable Examination Fee Through Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking / UPI via Canara Bank Payment Gateway. Processing Charges and GST Are Payable Extra.
  • Step 4: After Successful Fee Payment, Download and Print the Confirmation Page. The Application Is Confirmed Only After Successful Fee Transaction. Keep the Confirmation Page Safe for Future Reference.

💡Important Information: Candidates Must Submit Only One Application Form. Multiple Applications Will Lead to Cancellation of Candidature. No Corrections Through Post/Fax/WhatsApp/Email Will Be Accepted by NTA. Changes Can Be Made Only Through the Online Correction Window (04–06 Apr 2026).
